Trenton Kelly, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Jeff Kinney, 217
My favorite part of the book was when Greg was in the play Wizard of Oz. His character was the tree. He wanted this part because he thought he would get to throw apples. When they started the play his brother Manny said "bubby". I thought that was funny.
The connection I had with this book was the Wizard of Oz. I really like that show when I was younger.

My favorite part in the book is when greg was at a hotel an then he was changing the rodric kikked him out and greg went behinde a candy machene and stayed their then his dad came and took him back.
My conection was i had to get my doller from behind the candy machene because i droped it

My favorite part was when Sistine said '' your my best friend. '' I thought that was really encourging to tell Robert.Robert went to show Sistine a real live tiger,when she saw the tiger she was amazed at what she had seen.I think the saddest part was when Robert's daddy shot the tiger.
I had a connection when I had to give my puppy away,the same way Robert had to do,to give away his tiger.
I would say 4 out of 5 stars.I would like everyone to read this book, it was a wonderful book.I loved it.

My favorite part is when rodrik band loadid dipper its Awsome it was cool he could play the smoke on water i could play smoke on water on the gutair and rodric is really good i mean really good

My favorite part is when Calvin forgets his sister Darcy at school. Dacry is at home. He runs all the way back to school and doesn't find his sister, then he goes home and finds his sister.
My connection is when I forgot my little brother at school when I was suppose to pick him up to go to walk-up.

Trenton Kelly, Mike Luprica's Comeback Kids-Hot Hand, Mike Luprica, 165 pages
My favorite part of the book was when Billy and his friends talk about the basketball game. They talked about how they played last night. I liked that because I love basketball. I can talk about basketball all day long.
It reminds me of when my friends and I talk after our games.
2 out of 5 stars This book was a little slow to me.

my favorite parts of the book are when calvin goesin the dumpster I thought it was funny. I like it when calvin lied aoubt stella likeing dried shrimp. I it when stella is trying to un lock the door and calvin is trying to help.
when calvin for got his sister it reminded me when my dad for got to lock the door
I would give it 4 out of 5 stars this book is really funny

my fav part in that book women is when the book women brought the books to cals sister. The book women would do any thing to get the books to them even if theirs a tornado .

McKenna Saul, Calvin Coconut/Trouble Magnet Graham Salisbury,152 pages.
My favorite part is when Calvin and Julio are running away from Tito and Frankie Diamond. I like that part of the book because Calvin and Julio have to hide in a dumpster with slippery black gunk under there feet.I also like that part because Calvin gave me a thought how that dumpster smelled ''this dumpster smell's worst then dogs breath''.I also like this part because Tito and Frankie Diamond are chasing Calvin and Julio then all the sudden they just lose them.
The connection I made with this book is my brother is always getting in trouble like Calvin.
I would give this book 5 stars.

My favorit paragraph was when she was on top of the roof. She was saving the sparrow. Most of the sparrow are reddy dead.But she saved some of the sparrow.
This book made me thnik about the time I went camping and they were seling brids.

My favorite part was when they were playing kickball.
This book made me think about when i was in 3rd grade we would always play kickball.

I like it when Dwight makes origami Yoda. I also like it when he gets popular, because of origami Yoda. He also gives really good advice, ex: origami Yoda said there will be a pop quiz and there was.
My connection is Dwight likes math and I like math.

My favorite part was whenever stella got really mad at Calvin because he forgot to fix the lock.I liked this part because Calvin usually obeys his Mother and does what she sais but this time he didnt do it. I also liked this part because Stella got really mad and she seems really really nice.

Maddie pewitt, Mudshark, by:Gary Paulsen,pg.86
My favorite part was when Mudshark kept his mouth shut about the custodian steeling the erasers from other class rooms.He was being a true friend and he may have been lying but he did it for a good reason and so did the custodian. Mudshark then had to make sure the parrot did not see him steel them from the library or bob would lose his job and mudshark would feel bad like he was not able to hold in a secret and that nobody would ever trust him again. the princeable was sad the parrot had to find a new home but he was happy he was put in good hands and will be getting a lot of attention and love.
My connection was when the counselor had taken the erasers from al the room, it reminded my of something I had written on the board that my teacher really liked.

My favorie part of the boook was when Frannie and Elliot had to clean up the hosue so a store owner could come over. She was coming over to talk to Magoo about her sock dolls. While they were cleaning the housre They saw the Bark limping acroos the room. Frannie thought they needed to take him to the vet. They took him to the vet in a wheelchair be cause he wouln't walk there. When they got to the office there was no seats. They let Bark out of the wheelchair and here came in two dogs that looked alike. He barked at them and it made a big ruckus.
Frannie wanted to be a vet and some day I would like to be a vet too.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars

Savanah Peterson, The Best Halloween Ever, Barbara Robinson, 216 pp
My favorite part is when they are at the school for Halloween. There's a hole in the floor in the boiler room. There's a bunch of candy down there because the Hardmans took the candy and hid it in there. The kindergardeners fell in the hole and found all the candy.
My connection is when I went to church and it was Halloween and we were trick or treating there. In the book they were going around the school getting candy.

My favorite part was when Nate was playing football and threw an interception. The other team's player picked it off and ran it all the way back for a TD. That was kind of wierd because Nate usually threw it good but this time he didn't. It was a really good throw right to his player, but the other team's player, jumped really high, picked it off and ran it back for a TD. Nate was under a lot of presure but he still passed it.
I connected to this books because one time I was playing football on my Elks team and I threw the ball to TD Lane, but the other team's player intercepted it.
I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

My favorite part was when one of the Herdmans set off the alarm. It made some of the kids mad.
A connection I made was with the baby in the book. Louella was yelling at everyobdy because they lost the baby's stroller. This made me think about my cousin, and we almost lost his stroller at Walmart one day.

My favorite part is when Sam and Cassius where fighting in the dog show place. I thought that Sam was going to die but he didn’t. Sam is a very brave dog.
I have a dog kind of like Sam. His name is buddy. Before he had really mean owners. They must have kicked him out the door because protected his booty. He also had problems with his tail.

My favorite part of the book is when Mr.Hoppy weighs each tortoise.First he weighs Alfie, which is Mrs.Silver's tortoise.Than he weighs Tortoise Num.2.Next, he drops the tortoise in Mrs.Silver's balcony.Lastly, Mrs.Silver finds Tortoise Num.2 and thinks hes Alfie.
My connection to the book is how I love my puppy,Tanner. Like Mrs.Silver loved Alfie and Mr.Hoppy.

My favorite part was the girls aunt brought a cake after Ramona ruined the first cake. The cake had flowers and lots of decorations. The cake was for Beezus's birthday.
A connection I has was it made me think about my birthday and that I would get mad if my siblings blew out the candles and messed up my birthday like Ramona did to Beezus when she ruined her cake

My favorite part is when Brian was saying if I try to save raw food it will spoil. He also said if I eat it I could die from how spoiled the meat was. The meat would spoil because there is no fridge to put it in and save it.
My connection is when David felt bad for the hurt bleeding dog. It reminded me of when I saw a helpless animal.

My favorite part about this book is when every one is thinking that herdmans are coming.But the good thing is that the people in the town are having halloween at there school.All the rooms in the school are decorated with spiders and a lot more halloween stuff.

My favorite part was when they broke into All Aboard Zoo. Then they broke into Long Island. They stole from All Aboard Zoo and the animals that they stole, they put in the Long Island Zoo.

My favorite part is when Charlie found the whole bog glob of candy in the school. A teacher was walking in so he jumped in a big hole. He found a whole bunch of kids in there. The same thing happened to them, they were trying to hide.
This book made me think about the bad kids in school, and there are teachers that would not be happy with that behvior.

My connection is that I have had someone teach me about veggies and lettuce like Mr. Hiller did.

My favorite part is when the herdmans bring a Ham in staid of Oil to give to Mary and Joseph. It's my favorite part because people thought they were going to make the show a mistake but they made it funnier. They have never done any good but at the play they did not trire to burn down the building. they played the part they were suppoust to play.

My favorite part was when he threw the football at rowly's bike when he was going down the hill really fast and he broke his arm. Then all the girls got his attention. I liked that part because it was really funny.
I connected to this part when I accidently hurt a friend and everyoen was paying attention to him and not me.

My favorite part was when Andi and Bruce were walking on the street talking and they found a dog with no collar The dog ran off and they followed him and he ran into the old abondend hotel. Andi and Bruce crawled in and they had a flashlight and saw how big and awesome it was They chased the dog and he went into a room and they found there were even more stray dogs. They decided to not tell anyone and help the dogs out They got food for them and made their hotel a fun place for the dogs. They went and found a dog catcher truck and unlocked all the kennels and let the dogs go free.
My connection to the book is just like those kids I really love dogs and always helping them find a home. That is how I have my dogs Fenner and Noel.

My favorite part is when Shelia says i have 2 half brothers what about you. Fudge says to peter ''Peter maybe if i cut you in half i will have a half brother and Totsie can have the other half.It was halarious how i was reading it in my mind.Shelia and Fudge were in the elevator when this happend.
This story reminds me of my nicece kalla because she says funny things like fudge and like how fudge thinks there going to like a puppet show but there going to art show that is what kalla would do to.

My favorite part is when in the end there rockets are suppost to fly up but instead they just went all over the place and they were exploding.i like this part because i like the picture and because alex stole martins idea and he tried to launch it but it was an epic failure.I also like this part because they worked real hard on the rockets and it all gos to waste.
I can connect because at nasa last year we had to make rockets and my teams rocket just fell to pieces.

My favorite part is when alvin is in a play toy time machine to impress this person and his allergic to everything. ( He thinks he is he's just scared.). I like this part because alvin gets stuck in the time machine and everyone knows he's in there they just well don't help. I also like this part because i like that alvin tries to break out of it even thought he's tied by blankets,rope,paper,and everything else.
I can connect because i once tried to get out of a chair while tied to the rope and i couldn't. I can also connect because i tried to get out of a blanket from under my bed epic failure.. I also have one last connection i tried to get out of a rope from a kitchen chair didn't work.

My favorite part is when Stink picked up a toad and felt something wet and screamed and droped the toad on the conncreat. The neighbor had to come outside for him to be quiet. Judy had to plug her ears and laugh at the same time.
This book reminds me of Kalla because Stink is halarious and funny and Kalla would do something that Stink would do.

My favorite part is when he was going in the forest and he found a tiger. The tiger was pacing back and forth, he was breathing really hard. The tiger was in the middle of the forest there was no one around and he didn’t have any food. This is my favorite part because I think tigers are interesting.
My connection to this book is when they set the tiger free. They didn’t know that he was going into the motel and jakes dad shot the tiger. I connect with this because I go shooting.

My favorite part is when bon jumps down from a tree and scares the little girl. I like this part because the guy bon when he jumped from the tree he was a ghost and i thought that bon wasnt even existing till that part.

I can connect because i once had a bag that was red and i tried to spy on anna because she wouldn't let me in her room.

My connection was when Evan took Jesses money. It reminded me of when my older brother took everything out of my purse.

My favorite part was when Phoebe wrote MICK HARET WAS HERE in the new concrete. Phoebe was at soccer practice, and when it was over she stayed at the fields late. Things were quiet untill some noisy workmen started to put some new bleachers up in new concrete. When the workmen had drove away, and the concrete was drying Phoebe was all by herself. Later she got up and walked over to the concrete while it was still mushy then she wrote with a stick MICK-HARET-WAS-HERE, and said "And now he's gone,".
I remember when I was a little girl my mom was in was in the hospital having a baby,and he died because he chocked from a his cord in my moms tummy.I remember when I found out I went outside and wrote with my finger "ADEN'' in the dirt.
