I like this book because I enjoy how pirates talk. I like how the author describied the poem of Blackbeard. I also like how the author explained how Blackbeared was unbeatable at his brutal game.

I like this book becuase Jack wrote how he writes his poems.He also likes to put food on incects. When he thinks of an idea he writes it in a poem.It tells you how to write different poems.
T-T-This book reminded me of Pirates because it is a poetry book.

My favorite part is when Kek went to the groshry store. I Iike it when he touches the green
food and starts to cry. I would never cry by just touching a piece of food. Persanely, I would actoualy
love to touch some food. Infact, I would probebly shove it in my mouht if I got a hold of it!...
Well, that's besides the point.
Any way, my connection with this book is that I also feel like I get too much.

My favorite part of this book was when Kek was excited to go to school and meet new people. I felt happy to know he would meet new people.
My connection was when Kek cared about a cow that was in the street so much he yelled STOP to his cousin who was driving.
My favorite quote was when Kek's teacher said '' Kek you may not understand evreything a conversation is about but that is ok because we may not understand you''.

My favorite poem is Ickle me,Pickle me Tickle me too.mI love how the shoe with the wings conneced to the shoe ,with Ickle me,Pickle me,Tickle me too in the shoe is drawn.Also I love how the poem decripes the chracters.I mean if you can what was happening without a picture,I picture Ickle me, Pickle me,Tickle me too as some green dwarfs with raggy and lose clothes.
My connection is when I was a girl I took one shoe of mine and got a dool of my brothers,stuck the dool in my shoe and tossed in in the air.

My favorite poem was long division because it was like actual long division. It was a very weird way of trying to find another way to describe division. It was described by saying loooooooooong division.
My connection was to bed time snack because all those things i wish i could have or do at night.it reminded me of when i got to stay up and do those things on thanksgiving night.

my favorite part was when the poem was about get out of bed"get out of bed silly head"but mom my head and my throat hurts". The kid didn't want to go to school. I like how it rhymed and how detailed and dramatic the kid was.
When I read this poem, it made me think about when I tell my mom I am sick but she makes all these excuses about why I have to go to school.

My favorite poem was when the young boy was holding a 2 pencil and the eraser wrong side up, complaining about how the people who made it are goober heads. That need to learn how to make a pencil that writes.
