My name is Caden. I read A Strong Right Arm, the author is Michelle Y. Green, there are 111pp.
My favorite part of the book was when Mamie was gonna sign up for baseball and she kept on saying I wanna sign up. The man kept asking her are you introuble miss? She said no. She was not introuble she was just excited to play baseball not softball since she threw like a real man.
I love baseball just like her and I can throw like a real man too.

My favorite part of the book is when Amelia was trying to fly around the world. Amelia was getting tierd and so was her co. pilot , Fred,so they tried to find Howland.When Amelia was trying to talk to somebody on the radio, the people didn't get the message,then they the next day they got a message then they got another message.Then the people spoke into the radio,and got no answer back,and nobody ever heard or seen Amelia and Fred ever again.Also still now in day's people still look for Amelia's plane.
My connection is when I was watching some planes fly way up in the sky on in a movie.Inside the plane there was thi camera man and I could haer the pilet talk in to the radio then all the sudden every thing starts shaking befor I knew it the plan crashed in a sea.
I give this book 5 stars.

My favorite partis when Raina and her friends play "spin the bottle". They all had turns. Then it was Raina's turn. She did not want to do spin the bottle. She said " I tink I'll pass". " I don't need some boy to yell about how disgusted he was to have to kiss me".
My connection is I also have braces. I know how she feels. Not like I'm that worked up about it.

My favorite part is when Harriet was trying to take slaves away from work to a free slave county.At first Harriet was a slave but when she got older she took other slaves away to a free county.She ricks her own life to save other slaves,she even left Mr.Tubman to save herself and to save other slaves.[also Mr.Tubman didn't want to go with her so she packed up her stuff and left]
My connection is when we saved a cat and kept her.[we named her Abbygal then she got eated by caotes when i was 4yr. old]

My favorite part is when bwana saves his dad from the snake. It says he ran out side naked witha golf club. then he hit the snake on the head.
I connect because I went on a boat trip this one time. What happened in the story that made you think of this?

My favorite part of the book was when Miss. Barton saved a lot of soldiers in the battle of the Civil War.Clara was a nurse during that time. She became part of the Red Cross.She was elected Red Crosses first president.She saved people around the United States of America.
My connection is that when Clara helped save her brothers life by giving him the medical servces.I helped my mommy when she was sick.

My favorite part of the book is when Thomas Jefferson tells about the Boston Tea Party. I have never heard of the Boston Tea Party. The people were angry because the did not want the the tea taxed. The thew all the tea into the ocean to protest.
My connection to this book is Thomas Jefferson picked fruit from the trees and I like to pick fruit off of my grandmothers pear trees.

My favorite part is when Andrew Jackson said "Our Union," he said firmly,"it must be preserved." At that time Andrew was mad at Calhoun because he was trying to overcome Jackson. Andrew was having a big problom with the people in texas because they were thinking that Mexico was going to attack.
My connection is 1.) He lived in the south and I live in the south too. 2.) He planted a farm and I planted a gardan.

My favorte part was when Raina's friends give her a makeover. That is my favorte part because i love it when my friends give me makeovers. Raina hated it, her friends were playing a joke on her, but she didn't know it.
In the book Raina got braces and she had to go back every day and get her braces tightened. I can relate to this because when I got braces I hated them, and they tightened mine too.
